Description
A box profile is a hollow steel section with a square or rectangular cross-section, made by cold-forming steel strip and welding the seam. The closed section gives high bending and torsional strength for its weight, and the profile is easy to weld and work.
Box profiles are used in steel frames, canopies and roof structures, doors, railings and ornamental ironwork, as well as shelving, furniture and machine frames. Square (SHS) and rectangular (RHS) sections are chosen to suit the load and the look the project calls for.
At Kemer Demir, certified box profiles are kept on racks in labelled bundles, in red-oxide primer, black and galvanized finishes. Wholesale and retail orders are prepared at our Kemer warehouse and loaded onto vehicles by overhead crane.
