Description
A ridge cap closes the ridge line where two roof slopes meet and keeps rainwater out at that joint. On steel roofs, a ridge cap chosen to match the profile and colour of the roofing sheet gives both weather-tightness and a neat finish.
Ridge caps are used to close the ridge on trapezoidal and tile-effect steel roofs, including warehouse and canopy roofs. Details such as roof edges, wall junctions and changes of direction are finished with suitable accessories.
